Overview
Big River Resources West Burlington, LLC - West Burlington, IA, produces 105 million gallons of ethanol annually. It is a ICM/Fagen design facility. It was originally built as a 40 million gallon facility but expanded to a 52 in 2006 and later to a 92 million gallon facility in 2008.
Forty eight new jobs have been created with this facility along with a significant local economic impact.
The facility consumes 37.5 million bushels of corn from the region and provides an environmentally friendly, clean, renewable fuel, and 300,000 tons each year of valuable high quality livestock feed for local, regional and national markets.
