Agriculture impacts our lives every day.  From the moment we get up in the morning until we crawl back into bed at night, corn is present.  Corn has over 3,500 uses, such as food sweeteners and absorbents in diapers.  Corn is used to make biodegradable packing peanuts and in biodegradable plastics.  Corn is also found in tires, batteries  and in the ethanol we use in our cars. Use this site to locate information and to learn more about ethanol.  In addition, be sure to link  to the sites that offer classroom activities.
